Geospatial Intelligence Middle East 2011

Exploiting Geospatial Intelligence to Enhance National Security, Public Safety, Emergency Management and Law Enforcement

Geospatial Intelligence Middle East Returns for the 4th Time

A clear, lucid and intelligent discourse on a key intelligence capability
Commodore (retired) Pat Tyrrell OBE, Intelligence Consultant and formerly Commandant of the Defence Intelligence and Security School, UK MoD

As global threats continue to increase and national security remains of paramount importance to the MENA region’s governments, having access to accurate, real-time, geographically-referenced intelligence has never been more important.

During Geospatial Intelligence Middle East 2010, one of the event’s Chairmen, Bill Harp from Esri, described Geographic Information Systems (GIS) as a “unique technology that can integrate all of the different types of intelligence into a single map-centric viewer for ease of analysis and visualisation”. View Mr. Harp's summary of the 2010 event now.

It is clear therefore that for any government keen to protect its national assets and protect its populations, investment in GIS and other geospatially-enabled technologies is critical.

View the completed agenda to review technological advances in this space and to evaluate the multitude of ways in which GEOINT can now be utilised by the agencies and organisations tasked with protection against this multitude of threats.
