The ASBC Annual Family Picnic at the Pavilions of Turkey Run

SAVE THE DATE!!! Bring your friends and family to The ASBC Annual Family Picnic on Saturday, April 30th from Noon to 5 at the Pavilions of Turkey Run located at The Claude Moore Colonial Farm in McLean, VA!

Your individual or family registration includes an incredible and delicious picnic buffet* with barbecue beef, marinated chicken, hamburgers, veggie burgers, Nathans beef hot dogs, potato salad, cole slaw, baked beans, vegetarian baked beans, pasta salad, Caesar salad and watermelon. Desserts include snow cones and an Edy's ice cream bar, and all day long you can munch on popcorn and help yourself to all the lemonade, sodas and iced tea you can handle.

To help you work that off there are plenty of activities for all ages including a nature trail, tour of an 18th century Claude Moore Colonial Farm, kickball, volleyball,

horseshoes, sack races for adults and kids, tug-of-war, and a special play area just for kids with a slide and swings for infants and older kids. (NOTE: As this is a family event, alcohol will not be served and is not permitted.)

Come on out and have a great time, enjoy great food and have a lot of fun with some folks you know and others you'll get to know (possibly as you blow by them during the sack race)!

From Washington Beltway (I 495)

Take VA Rt. 193 (Georgetown Pike - Exit 44) east towards Langley
drive 2.3 miles and turn left onto Colonial Farm Rd., just prior to junction Rt. 123
follow signs to Pavilions of Turkey Run.

From Washington, D.C.

Take the George Washington Memorial Parkway north to the exit for Rt. 123 towards McLean.
Drive about 1 mile and turn right onto Rt. 193
make the first right onto Colonial Farm Rd.
follow signs to Pavilions of Turkey Run
