Ryan Companies US, Inc., as the construction manager as constructor (CMc) for the General Services Administration (GSA), is planning for the start of construction on a new United States Courthouse in downtown Des Moines, Iowa. The building is approximately 229,000 square feet in size consisting of six above-grade floors and a below-grade parking area. Program elements include: 9 courtrooms, 13 judicial chamber suites and various tenant spaces. Construction is contracted for a 3-year duration and is budgeted at approximately $105,000,000 in value.
