Federal Security Committee Webinar

As an FSC member it is critical to know and understand your roles and responsibilities, but there are always questions/sticky points that arise.  The FSC Panel Discussion webinar will allow you, the FSC member, to hear lessons learned and ask questions such as:

  • How often do you hold your FSC meetings?
  • As a Chair, how long do you keep FSC records and where do you store them electronically? How do you ensure each tenant gets a copy?

  • How do you get everyone to attend your FSC meetings?

  • If an agency has 50% or more of the rentable square footage, many of the tenants figure it is not worth attending the meeting or even to vote.  How does your FSC differ?

  • Does each agency have to sign the FSC Charter?

  • How does GSA work with the lessor on adding new countermeasures like adding a new camera or duress or motion alarm?

  • Does FPS provide each tenant with an Facility Security Assessment (FSA), and if so should each tenant bring their FSA to the committee to address their findings and recommendation?

  • If RISK is accepted by the FSC, who must complete the Risk Acceptance Justification Form?  And, should FPS as the security organization look it over?

  • How can I get the latest copy of the FSA for my office from FPS?  No one knows where it is at.

  • Who do we as tenants tell if we are adding something like an HSDN room or card reader to our space?

  • Does FPS inspectors do performance measure testing for each office e.g. CCV, IDS, testing?
