Welcome to the 13th Annual NIH Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Conference: Translating Medical Discoveries into Health Products.

On June 22-23, 2011, the SBIR/ STTR Conference will return to the NIH Campus. Over 600 health and science managers, entrepreneurs, small business researchers, university researchers, and consulting organizations will come together on the NIH campus to explore the many nuances of the NIH SBIR/STTR program, the funding opportunities available to small business researchers, get questions answered by NIH staff, learn how the NIH SBIR/STTR program can be a valuable resource to help start and/or grow companies.

NIH awarded nearly $690M in Fiscal Year 2010 exclusively for small businesses to perform innovative research and R&D in the biomedical/behavioral sciences.
