Integrated Air and Missile Defence 2011
Defence IQ’s fourth summit is back in Germany at a time of great restructuring with responsibilities for most air and missile defence being transferred from the Army to the Air Force. The event is also positioned in the key final stage of the NATO Lisbon process; after the interim summit in April but before the action plan paper in June.
This is an intimate, considered and altogether focussed event taking in:
- Operational case studies like the German C-RAM, the US MDA and the NATO NC3A and ALTBMD programmes
- Organisational reorganisation like the new German Air Force responsibilities for air and missile defence
- The future of NATO air and missile defence procurement and integration requirements with a particular focus on the June phase of Lisbon integration
- AND – The US MDA contribution and influence in the procurement of a new and integrated system.
