OpenGovDC Conference
OpenGovDC is an intensive one day conference that examines how open source tools can be used to advance open government. It brings doers and decision-makers together to talk about what works—and what doesn't.
In every session, technologists with real-world experience implementing and managing large-scale government open source web projects will talk about their successes, failures, and challenges they overcame along the way. Each session has two tracks—one giving a strategic overview of the topic, including how to approach it; and one teaching how to implement it.
At the end of the day, you'll leave with actionable strategies for building efficient & engaging modern government websites.
Who Should Attend?
Open Government stakeholders who wants to better understand—or build—technical platforms that support agency-level needs.
People curious about open source tools, like Drupal, Node.js, and Wordpress, in the realm of government applications.
Developers who want to learn about the unique challenges faced by government web practitioners.
