Telehealth and EHRs: Preparing for & Managing through the Data Tsunami
For years, telehealth promised the future of healthcare -- more convenience and an enhanced experience for patients and better scale for providers. But between governmental regulatory hurdles and legacy culture issues, most providers were never able to get their telehealth pilots off the ground. Due to the COVID pandemic, a majority of providers have rushed to offer telehealth solutions. While these solutions are offering providers and patient’s health services, most providers are not yet ready to manage the deluge of data these new services are bringing to their EHR services.
This webinar promises to look at the new challenges posed by this rapid adoption of telehealth, from the need for better data storage and data management to managing telehealth services during COVID and preparing for telehealth in the world after the pandemic.
