Virtual Quantum Collider 2.0
Join us for part two of the Virtual Quantum Collider!
Building off the momentum of the first-ever Virtual Quantum Collider, the VQC 2.0 is a collaborative, two-day event offering audiences live panels, thought-provoking discussions, and engaging networking sessions that will energize and accelerate the application of quantum technologies.
Be inspired by thought-provoking discussions with:
• 19-year-old phenomenon, Alyssa Carson, astronaut in training, global TEDx speaker, future Mars walker, and author; joined by her father and greatest advocate, Bert Carson.
• Dr. Celia Merzbacher of the Quantum Economic Development Consortium leading a panel discussion on quantum supply chain.
• Dr. Charles Tahan, Assistant Director for Quantum Information Science at the Office of Science and Technology Policy and Director of the National Quantum Coordination Office.
• Dr. Corey Stambaugh of the National Quantum Coordination Office leading a panel discussion on creating a quantum-smart workforce of the future.
• Brigadier General Heather L. Pringle, Commander for the Air Force Research Laboratory, Air Force Material Command in Dayton, OH.
• Dr. Will Roper, United States Air Force and Space Force Acquisition Executive and Innovation Lead.
Innovare Advancement Center is a globally connected, world-class facility acting as a lightning rod for top scientific, engineering, and entrepreneurial talent to leverage highly specialized resources and accelerate both expertise and innovation in critical research areas, including artificial intelligence/machine learning, cybersecurity, and quantum information science.
Innovare is a significant step forward in implementing the National Quantum Initiative Act, which aims to foster the development of a quantum technology ecosystem among government, industry, and academia.
To build purposeful partnerships that will accelerate the development of talent and a quantum technology ecosystem. This strategy will drive awareness of Air Force quantum information science initiatives and lead to the quicker deployment of this research and technology, bringing "Q-Day" to the nation faster.
The Air Force is prioritizing the acceleration of quantum technologies. This virtual STTR event connects government researchers and universities with companies that are ready to work with them to help take cutting-edge research and transfer it to commercial and military markets.
