Cyber Jobs for America
In its efforts to provide top‐level decision makers, in the public and private sectors, with perspectives that bridge the gaps between departments and cross the public/private/academic divide, the INSA Cyber Council is hosting a Cyber Education Symposium, “Cyber Jobs for America: Defining Needed Professions, Skill‐sets and Education.” We believe that the US needs to be a thought leader in this space and that much of this work has not yet been fine tuned and put in writing for all of us to leverage and build upon. As such, our objective is to foster discussion between Industry, Government and Academia attendees that will serve as the foundation of a body of work on cyber related professions, skill sets, and commensurate education and training.
This event will be an inclusive forum with government leaders in the cyber profession (ex: DHS, Navy, NSA), companies who are hiring large numbers of cyber professionals, and key academic Institutions that create the degrees and curricula that are foundational to cyber related professions.
