Teri Rigell, wife of Congressman Scott Rigell (VA-02), has been a resident of Hampton Roads for over 24 years.  She and Scott own Freedom Automotive, which is comprised of Freedom Ford and Freedom Volvo.  Teri campaigned tirelessly for Scott during his congressional race, culminating in his victory in November 2010.  Her primary role now is supporting Scott as he works to bring fiscal responsibility and common sense job creation to Washington, and faithfully serve the constituents of the 2^nd District.

Teri continues to be actively involved in the Hampton Roads community.  She and Scott are members at Trinity Church in Virginia Beach, where she has been very involved in both the women’s and children’s ministries.  Teri has supported and volunteered with many local charities, including The Judeo Christian Outreach Center and The Crisis Pregnancy Center, and served as a mentor through Reaching Our Communities, Inc.  She has also served on the Board of Directors at Norfolk Christian Schools.

She and Scott are the parents of four grown children: Lindsey, Mallory, Justus and Shannon.  They also have two fine sons-in-law, O.E. and Jackson, and two grandchildren, Parks and Reese.
