2011 Federal Cybersecurity Conference and Workshop

The 2011 Federal Cybersecurity Conference and Workshop will discuss strategies and tactics for securing and defending Federal IT systems and networks for trusted and reliable global communication.

The 2011 Federal Cybersecurity Conference and Workshop is a National Cyber Security Awareness Month event that will examine these challenges from a variety of perspectives, and aligns with the Month’s theme of “Cybersecurity: Our Shared Responsibility.” The conference is supported by an advisory council of representatives from National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), National Security Agency (NSA), Department of Defense (DoD), the Intelligence Community (IC), and various Industry partners.

Registration

Online registration will be available until Monday, September 19. Onsite registration will be available at the Sheraton Inner Harbor during the conference.

Audience

Our primary audience is focused federal employees who serve as: CIOs, CTOs, OIGs, CROs, Chief Security Architects, IT Managers, and CISOs. Contract staff will be permitted on a limited basis.

The general agenda for the 2011 Federal Cybersecurity Conference and Workshop includes:

• Monday, October 3, 2011 is dedicated to workshops and specialized trainings
• Tuesday, October 4, 2011 will include plenary, panel, and presentation sessions
• Wednesday, October 5, 2011 will include plenary, panel, and presentation sessions
• Thursday, October 6, 2011 will include plenary, panel, and presentation sessions with a closing keynote speech by DHS leadership
