9th Border Security & Intelligence Summit

DSI’s 9th Annual Border Security and Intelligence Summit will focus on the policies and technologies necessary to ensure the continued safety of the U.S. Homeland through the protection and security of our nation’s borders. TCOs continue to adapt their tactics, techniques, and procedures, supported by ever increasingly sophisticated networks and technologies.

Our society’s continual expansion of data and the utilization of online activities by malicious actors continues to place difficult challenges for our federal and state intelligence divisions towards processing, exploiting and disseminating information into meaningful intelligence at the speed of relevance. Cargo processed at our ports of entry continues to grow while ports begin to move to greater levels of digitization, bringing higher demands on screening and physical and cybersecurity requirements.

To this end, the 2021 Summit topics will focus on operational strategies, advanced technologies, and current capability gaps to further enhance the information, intelligence and investigative enterprises that support the security of our borders and Nation: from supporting the disruption of TCOs and drug cartels ‘beyond the border’ to aiding efficient cargo and maritime port security operations.
