Understanding All Things CUI
This event qualifies for 1 CPEs
When preparing for CMMC certification, Defense Contractors must have firm grasp on Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), which is the focus of CMMC requirements. Questions about identification, marking, and handling requirements remain, and many contractors are unclear on whether or not CUI truly exists in their environment as part of their contract.
DHG GovCon is pleased to welcome Dr. Rosemary Helton, author of DoD's internal guidance on CUI Handling (DoD Instruction 5000.48) for an in-depth session designed to clarify the nature of CUI and help contractors understand their requirements for CMMC certification. Specific topics to be addressed:
TOPICS COVERED
- Identifying and Marking of CUI
- Safeguarding of CUI
- Sharing/Handling of CUI
- Decontrol, Records Management, and Destruction of CUI
- CUI in Contracts
