Building Innovation Through Partnerships: Apps for the Environment Forum

Building Innovation through Partnerships:  EPA's Apps for the Environment Forum

In June, EPA launched the Apps for the Environment Challenge to encourage the use of EPA data to create applications that further Administrator Jackson's priorities.  To continue to engage and build the community, EPA is organizing "Building Innovation through Partnerships:  EPA's Apps for the Environment Forum".  This event will continue the collaborations EPA began this summer, recognize participants and winners from the challenge, and explore how to move forward to support a sustainable, diverse innovation community.

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with experts on environmental data needs and innovative solutions
  • Experience cutting edge demos of environmental apps
  • Network through break-out sessions, exhibits, and hands-on learning
  • Gain insights from government, business, tech-industry and environmental leaders about future efforts to promote environmental applications

Details on the location of the event, speaker bios, live streaming, break out sessions and exhibit booths can be on Apps Forum webpage: http://www.epa.gov/appsfortheenvironment/forum.html.

If you would like to attend this event in person, please send an e-mail to greenapps@epa.gov. Registration is free and open to the public!
