Organizing Fire And Rescue Services Online Training

Fire and rescue services involve practices associated with prevention and response to fire emergencies. The Organizing Fire and Rescue Services Online Training provides an introduction of prevention at a large scale, including pre-incident planning, fire and emergency training, and public systems management (emergency services, alarm, dispatch, and communications). Content addresses why a Certified Fire Protection Specialist® (CFPS®) must be familiar with the threats fire services face daily and the role and importance of cleaning and maintenance standards of apparatus and equipment, such as personal protective equipment (PPE).

The Organizing Fire and Rescue Services course offers 3D firefighter PPE demonstrations covering the importance of PPE, PPE safety best practices, and a 360-degree model of a firefighter wearing PPE. Unique content also features an NFPA expert interview video on the topic of community risk reduction.

At the end of the online training, you should be able to:

  • Recall primary topics located in Sections 12 and 13 of the Fire Protection Handbook® (FPH).
