10th Annual Pacific Information Operations & Electronic Warfare Symposium (USINDOPACOM)

This event is currently being planned as a hybrid event (both in-person and virtual options). We are continuing to monitor the situation and will switch formats if necessary.

Join us for the 10th Annual Pacific Information Operations (IO)/Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) Symposium. The IO/EW Symposium is co-sponsored with United States Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM), which conducts additional meetings, presentations and workshops that together with the Association of Old Crows' AOC Pacific Conference, comprise the Pacific IO/EW Symposium. This annual event is USINDOPACOM's only professional development, international engagement and operational problem-solving event focused on the Information Related Capabilities (IRCs) that comprise Joint IO & EW.

The theme for the 2021 Symposium “Information Operations in Great Power Competition,” reflects upon the critical importance of confronting complex security challenges facing the Indo-Pacific region. This theme is shared with and will build off of the momentum of the Naval Postgraduate School’s Symposium on Information Strategy and Political Warfare to be held earlier in 2021.

The purpose of the symposium is to bring together government, military, industry, academia, small business and other stakeholders for discussions on the operational challenges facing the practitioners of these IRCs, and to explore possible technological and tactics/procedural solutions. To stimulate wider interest and inquiry into these issues, the symposium and related activities and events will be open to registration by government, industry and academia representatives without regard to their AOC membership status (both AOC Members and non-members may register) except that access of foreign and any other persons may be restricted as necessary in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

The symposium agenda will focus on the role of information operations in maintaining the conditions for continued peace and stability within the region and will feature presentations and panels from senior U.S. Department of Defense leaders.

More than 400 attendees participated in 2020's virtual event, and we expect even higher numbers with a hybrid approach!

The full conference is October 18-22, with unclassified content available October 18-20. However, exhibitors may only participate October 19-20.
