Protecting Critical Infrastructure From Growing Cyber Threats
The recent ransomware attack on the Colonial Pipeline — which distributes hundreds of millions of gallons of fuel daily to the eastern U.S. — underscores the growing threat to critical infrastructure across the nation. As government organizations that run water systems, energy grids, transportation networks and other vital facilities connect more operational control equipment to the internet, the risk of similar disruption is magnified. Security strategies must evolve to address this new landscape.
On July 8, Government Technology will host an important conversation on the urgent need to strengthen cybersecurity protection for critical infrastructure and resources. The New York City School Construction Authority will join experts from the Center for Digital Government and ARMIS, a firm specializing in security monitoring and enforcement across operational technology (OT) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS), to discuss evolving cyber-threat trends and offer insights on how state and local government organizations can minimize critical infrastructure risks.
Register now for this interactive, live webcast, to learn more about:
- New threats to critical infrastructure and what they mean for public utilities and other government entities
- How the School Construction Authority improved visibility across OT, ICS and traditional IT assets and why this is critical for addressing today’s risks
- How sophisticated new tools help organizations identify security threats and immediately take action to protect the safety and security of their operations
