Building Aeronautical Cartography

Aeronautical charts are some of the most intricate and complex cartographic products to produce and must be kept up-to-date according to the Aeronautical Information Regulation and Control (AIRAC )cycle. A data-driven chart production system is the most efficient way to meet these demands. 

This webinar will explore key capabilities available in ArcGIS Pro and the ArcGIS Aviation Charting extension:

• Creation of complex symbology and labels unique to aeronautical charts and driven by data from a database designed for cartographic representation
• Introduction of the tools available in ArcGIS Aviation Charting that enable users to create a chart using a configuration provided with the software that follows the  International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) specifications.
