IMAGINE: GOV - Lessons learned from COVID-19 and how it revolutionized citizen service delivery

The pandemic was a catalyst for governments to evolve their people, processes, and technology to better serve citizens at home. The Commonwealth of Virginia expanded an existing program to centrally secure and share critical COVID-19 data, and Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training transitioned their overwhelmed call center system to a high-functioning UI process in less than two weeks.

Both organizations are now better positioned to scale, are more resilient, and offer the digital services citizens want.

Join Casey Burns, health and human services lead at Amazon Web Services (AWS), and a panel of state leaders for a discussion about how governments are reimagining the citizen experience.
