Getting started with Event Driven Architecture and Apache Kafka
With the rise of distributed microservices, the communication patterns for services become more important. In this session, you will learn how to move your architecture from only REST HTTP APIs to an event-driven architecture.
We will answer these questions:
- What is an event?
- What type of events are there?
- How do events fit in the microservices architecture, and what are the communication patterns available for services?
We will concentrate on repeatable events implemented through Apache Kafka.
