Achieving Energy Efficient Data Centers with New ASHRAE Thermal Guidelines



Learn about energy and HVAC control strategies, with an emphasis on reliability and best practices reated to the new American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning (ASHRAE) 9.9 Data Center Class Guidelines for controlling temperature and air volume in high-intensity data centers. The seminar includes project examples demonstrating cost-effective operations and payback periods that result from an in-depth engineering approach.

First Thursday Seminars air from 1:30 to 3:00 PM EST and can be accessed in the following ways:

  1. Live streaming video available on the day of the event over the internet to a desktop computer or via a projection system in a conference room;
  2. Digital and Analog Satellite downlink transmission provided through the Government Education network (GETN) for classroom environments; and
  3. Archived streaming video available after the event 24/7 on the DOE FEMP website.
