Creating a Platform of the Future: Sacramento County Improves Transparency with Cloud-Based Data Analytics

Sacramento County’s 311 Connect offering provides a critical service to the area’s approximately 1.5 million residents by allowing them to log service requests for a variety of needs, from animal care issues to waste management concerns. Previously, it was time-consuming and cumbersome for the county to mine and report on the mountains of data collected from the system.

On Jan. 26 at 11am PT/2pm ET, Sacramento County is joining Government Technology to discuss how a move to advanced analytics in the cloud dramatically increases employees’ ability to mine 311 data, create visualizations and enhance customer service. Register for this hour-long webcast to also learn:

  • Best practices from Sacramento County’s experience and examples of the advantages analytics offers now and expected benefits in the future
  • The importance of the right cloud platform and analytics tools to ease integration and centralize data
  • How other organizations can successfully implement analytics in the cloud to increase internal and external efficiencies
