Ransomware: Everything You Need to Know in 2022
In the span of just a few years, ransomware has become the biggest cybersecurity threat to state and local governments. Ransomware attacks on organizations of all kinds have increased threefold since 2020, according to a February 2022 report by Forrester Research. Attackers target the organizations they know will be more enticed to pay ransoms, the report said. Increasingly, that means state and local agencies.
That’s why we’re partnering with Recorded Future for an upcoming virtual discussion on Thursday, May 12. In a concise 30-minute webcast, we’ll outline everything you need to know about ransomware in 2022 – and how to use real-time intelligence to detect, hunt and remediate ransomware threats.
Specifically, this panel will cover:
- Major trends in ransomware: How have these attacks evolved, and where are they headed in the future?
- How can governments protect their own assets as well as critical private sector entities?
- How can you better manage supply chain security and third-party risk to ensure your vendors have the right solutions in place?
