Industry day for the new Prices Include Variation Over Time  (PIVOT) evaluation method for the T-X (T-7A) Ground Based Training System (T-X GBTS) Simulator and T-X (T-7A) Maintenance Training System Centralized Training Facility (T-X MTS CTF)

PIVOT is a unique solicitation method where offerors will provide prices for three or more periods for the same CLINs. This allows offerors to provide reduced risk pricing if the Government can award more quickly but also allows offerors to include risk for prices in their CLINS when the Government takes longer to award. This is to mitigate price risk, increase industry participation, and minimize the need for extending proposals.
