Leverage the Michigan Secure App for Your Constituents
The State of Michigan offers a free mobile app, called Michigan Secure, to help protect its residents’ mobile devices and digital lives. Michigan Secure, which was built by Zimperium, is a free mobile app that alerts users if their mobile device or tablet encounters threats, such as a potentially risky Wi-Fi network or a phishing text, and offers recommendations on how to address the risk.
Michigan Secure, the first-ever mobile security tool to be made available for free to an entire state, has already won numerous accolades, including the 2021 State IT Innovation of the Year award from StateScoop.
To help protect more Michiganders with this cutting edge offering, representatives from the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) and Zimperium will present a webinar about the benefits of the app and why you should promote it to your constituents, including:
- Why the State of Michigan is offering the app to its residents
- How the app protects against device, network, application, and phishing threats
- Why you should promote the app – at zero cost to your agency or your constituents
