Fire and Police Agencies are Improving Situational Awareness and Team Coordination with ATAK: It's Powerful and Free to Use

ATAK (Android Team Awareness Kit) is a game-changing collaborative mobile app providing real-time display of team member locations and sharing of encrypted text, photos and videos among first responders. Originally developed for special forces, it is now available to police and fire personnel. Users can share mission-essential information including real-time drone feeds during critical incidents. ATAK effectively serves as a command center for field personnel.

Speakers have extensive experience working with the technology, including use during wildfires and major incidents. They will provide compelling use case examples. You will not want to miss this presentation.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand basic in-field coordination capabilities provided by ATAK.
  • Comprehend the operational and tactical benefit of ATAK.
  • Learn how the ATAK application can be customized for agencies and how to obtain the application for free.
