6th Annual INSA IC Industry Day

6th Annual INSA IC Industry Day
Understanding the IC Budget in Order to Meet National Security Needs

Registration is now open for the 6th Annual INSA IC Industry Day! The theme for this year's day-long, TS/SCI level event, "Understanding the IC Budget in Order to Meet National Security Needs," could not be more relevant in today's challenging budgetary environment. Briefings throughout the day will focus on how the IC intends to allocate budget resources at the program level, so that IC agencies and their industry partners can plan to deliver identified capabilities at the best value for the government. INSA members have been working with officials at the ODNI including Dawn Meyerriecks, Assistant Director of National Intelligence for Acquisition, Technology and Facilities, to develop a meaningful agenda.

Prospective panel sessions include:

  • Budget guidance to the IC for FY12 and FY13;
  • Acquisition issues and challenges and the Space Futures Study;
  • The new IC IT Enterprise Strategy;
  • FY12 IC authorization bill highlights and FY13 challenges; and
  • Short briefings detailing CBJB highlights and impacts from CIA, DIA, NGA, NRO and NSA

With major budgetary challenges looming, INSA IC Industry Day offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from intelligence agency executives and program managers about their priorities for the year ahead.
