Frictionless Airport Experiences with Virtual Queue Technology

Air travel is back. Domestic holiday air travel topped pre-pandemic levels for the first time this Labor Day, and daily averages are quickly returning to 2019 levels as well. But flight cancellations, service delays and other uncertainties make flying a frustrating experience.

One frustration, however, may soon be a thing of the past. A growing number of U.S. airports are implementing new technology that would eliminate the wait for passengers in TSA security lines.

Thanks to an innovative program at several airports across the country, passengers can use their smartphone to schedule a spot in the TSA line in advance. With these digital reservations, these travelers place themselves in a virtual queue and skip the long lines for security screening.

For airport officials, it’s a smarter management solution that’s safer, more efficient and less crowded.

Join us on October 18 for a 30-minute webinar on how airport authorities are enabling frictionless travel and changing the airport experience. In this webcast, you’ll learn:

  • How the program works, and how airport authorities can use data from it to make better-informed decisions on staffing, planning, design and more
  • How cities can leverage Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) funds and other federal resources to pay for it
  • How virtual queuing technology can be applied to other parts of government, including DMVs, benefits agencies, healthcare facilities, call centers and more
