HR Data: The Benefits and the Challenges
As more and more cities, counties and states rely on data to help make difficult decisions, HR and human resource managers have a great deal to gain. Among other things, data and performance management can be used to make more efficient hiring processes, distribute overtime more fairly, uncover equity issues and even improve employee safety.
But there are ample challenges that stand in the way of fulfilling the promise of data to accomplish these goals, including insufficient funding, lack of training and lack of access to the appropriate software. This webinar hosted with the Center for Accountability and Performance webinar will delve into both the benefits and challenges confronting the use of HR data with a knowledgeable panel including:
Takeaways:
- How your state or locality can get staff buy-in for the effective use of data
- Real-world examples showing how data can be effectively used to improve HR performance
- How to successfully wrestle with data-quality problems
- Ways in which data can help with workforce planning for the future
