Tech@State

Tech@State:Wiki.Gov is happening July 12 - 13 as part of Wikimania 2012.  We'll be talking about Wikis and the Public Sector and exploring how wikis and their associated technologies can be used to increase collaboration in diverse environments, to encourage greater citizen participation and engagement at all levels of government, and to provide greater access to vital information to citizens around the world.

Beth Simone Noveck, author of 'Wiki Government: How Technology Can Make Government Better, Democracy Stronger, and Citizens More Powerful,' will provide the keynote speech on Thursday, July 13 followed by sessions on Local Wikis and Institutional Collaboration.  On Friday, July 13, we're planning serious discussions on Federal Government Wikis with representatives from Diplopedia, Intellipedia, Powerpedia, GCpedia, and others on stage to take your questions.  Register now at Tech@State:Wiki.Gov.  More info is available at Tech.State.gov.
