Ground Warfighter Geospatial Intelligence Conference

USGIF and U.S. Army are working through new rules and regulations for this year’s event. More details about submitting presentations, registration, and other details will be available as soon as we have official approval. We appreciate your understanding.

Previously called Army Geospatial and Imagery Conference, USGIF, the G-2, andAGC have renamed this event the Ground Warfighter Geospatial Intelligence Conference (GGC). This new event name more accurately reflects the focus of this important conference, the convergence and synergy of geospatial intelligence, and highlights the FVEY attendees that contribute to not only attendance but also the agenda.

USGIF, the Office of the G-2, and AGC are all excited to provide you with another worthwhile conference. We hope to see you at the TASC Heritage Conference Center 5-8 June for this year’s event. Please check back soon for additional details, which will be posted as they become available.

The 2011 AGIC consolidated conference with the theme of “Gain Efficiencies – Enable the Warfighter,” provided important information to all levels of personnel, especially at the tactical level.

Last year’s agenda included a keynote from MG Merdith W.B. “Bo” Temple and VIPpresentations from MG Michael T. Flynn and Dr. Joseph F. Fontanella. Topics and presentations included Unconventional Geospatial Operations, management of NTMRequirements, Street-Level Imagery and Full-Motion Video in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The Ground Warfighter Geospatial Intelligence Conference is a part of USGIF’s GEOINTCommunity Week. Events throughout the week bring the community together for business and networking.
