The Open Source Security Summit is a forum to explore the intersection of open source and security. In our inaugural year in 2020, we chose to focus on credential management, which remains a critical first line of defense for individuals and companies to mitigate cyberattacks.

In 2021, we expanded to cover open source security more broadly, engaging a community of like-minded enthusiasts sharing their ideals and tactics to make open source security more widely understood and accessible to software developers and users.
