Border Management Summit Southwest (3rd Annual)

The US Southwest border continues to be plagued with violence and illegal activity. Law enforcement officials are tasked with maintaining order and apprehending criminals along the nearly 2,000 mile long US-Mexico border. Of this extensive area, we only have ‘effective control’ of less than 700 miles and an ability to prevent or stop illegal entries along 129 miles. Despite this, officials are faced with decreased budgets and a deficit of human resources. How can they best protect the US borders given this reality?

In its 3rd year, IDGA’s Border Management Summit – Southwest will join thought leaders and key policy makers from local, state and federal law enforcement as well as the DHS and international government organizations to discuss current and future border security solutions.

Benefit from this chance to join the homeland security community in learning key topics:

  • Doing more without more: how unmanned systems are bridging resource gaps
  • Overcoming detection and surveillance challenges on the border
  • Advanced sensors, more robust communications, and high-performance software
  • Biometrics programs for the border
  • Increasing interagency cooperation

Don’t miss the opportunity to discover new solutions and start new partnerships in this high-level, yet intimate setting that allows for genuine dialogue and information sharing.
