The Evidence Conference

The Evidence Conference will be a comprehensive 2-day event held on October 1-2, 2012 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center located in the heart of Washington, DC.

The emphasis of the conference will be on information sharing, technology, accreditation and standards with tracks on Crime Scene, Digital and Mobile Device Forensics, and Forensic Laboratories.

“This conference brings together the content and information published in both Forensic Magazine and DFI News,” noted Group Publisher Liz Vickers. “We are excited to hold this event in DC and are planning a full roster of experts to address all aspects of evidence collection and analysis.”

Included in the program will be educational sessions, an exhibit hall, keynote presentation, facility tour, meals/breaks, networking opportunities, and technical trade presentations. Discounted registration rates and exhibit fees are available until June 15, 2012.

The Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center is the largest government building in Washington, DC. The International Trade Center houses a premier conference and event center. This landmark building fulfills a dream of President Kennedy's, to revitalize Pennsylvania Avenue, the "Avenue of the Presidents." Heralded as an architectural triumph, the building features a magnificent framework of stone, steel, and glass.

The Evidence Conference is proud to hold the inaugural event at the Reagan Building. The exhibit area will be in the Atrium Hall just off the 10-story rotunda and a dramatic cone-shaped skylight composed of an acre of glass.

Three conference tracks will be offered:

  1. Crime Scene Track
  2. Digital and Mobile Device Track
  3. Forensic Lab Track
