2012 EMERGENCY SERVICES SECTOR COORDINATING COUNCIL SUMMIT

The Emergency Services Sector Coordinating Council is sponsoring the 2012 Emergency Services Sector Coordinating Council Summit in Denver, Colorado on August 1, 2012.Co-locating with the Fire Rescue International Conference, the Summit provides a forum for representatives from the Emergency Services Sector community to exchange information and network with otherfirst responder professionals, share best practices, learn about issues affecting the sector, and gain insight into the roles of Federal, State, and local agencies and departments involved in sector security.

This year’s event will include informational sessions on a variety of topics, such as: pandemic preparedness, incident response team capabilities, cybersecurity threats and initiatives, credentialing,andfirst responder grants.Breakout sessions will allow attendees to better understand the emergency services security environment through small group discussions, and provide networking opportunities with DHS officials, industry peers, and practitioner/responders in the field.There is no registration fee associated with the one day summit.
