Teaming & Strategy Development to Capture Federal Contracts 

You are invited to attend a Small Business Teaming Workshop hosted by LSI Business Development Inc. (LSI), Tuesday, 15 May 2012, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, at the Sheraton Midwest City, Reed Conference Center, Ballroom D, 5750 Will Rogers Road, Midwest City, OK 73110.  The cost to attend is $40 per company, invoiced upon registration.

The Small Business Teaming Pilot Program was established by Congress under the Small Business Jobs Act of 2010. The Small Business Administration (SBA) awarded a grant to Logistics Specialties, Inc. (LSI) www.lsiwins.com, a world leader in Government Business Development, to assist with strengthening small businesses and helping them expand by increasing opportunities for them to participate in the Federal procurement arena. A “team” may be in the form of a joint venture or prime/subcontractor relationship. SBA interprets the phrase “larger procurement contracts” as referring to Federal procurement opportunities where the total value of the contract (including options) exceeds half the size standard corresponding to the NAICS code assigned to the contract or, in the case of an employee-based size standard, exceeds $10,000,000. 

The purpose of this workshop is to guide Small Businesses through the Federal procurement process to compete for large Federal contracts by forming teams. LSI will provide hands on counseling, mentoring, and specific guidance designed to enhance small businesses’ ability to compete for large Federal contracts.
