Mastering the New ITAR Exemptions for the UK Webinar

US-UK Treaty Relaxes ITAR--Is the Cure Worse than the Disease?

On April 13, 2012, the US finally relaxed US ITAR controls on the UK.  The big question is whether this helps you, and right now that is a tough question to answer.  Some who have tried to read the new rules have already decided to ignore the complicated relaxation and continue to get licenses and agreements.

The fact is a lot of ITAR controls remain and many companies will continue to get ITAR licenses and agreements for technology transfer and trade between the US and UK.  The second fact is that the relaxation is so complicated many companies are going to shy away from using it, either initially or permanently.

Now is the perfect time to find out how to deal with the significant ITAR restrictions and to learn how to determine whether the new changes will make your life easier when it comes to technology exchange and moving items to, and among, your key business partners in the US, Canada, the UK, Europe and the world.

Our Mastering the New ITAR Exemptions for the UK Webinar will cover the following topics:

  • Eligible US Exports
  • Eligible UK Retransfers
  • Eligible Items
  • Eligible Parties - UK Community
  • Eligible End Users
  • Eligible Intermediate Consignees
