Infrastructure & Application Observability Workshop

This technical workshop is designed to introduce participants to troubleshooting and monitoring cloud-native, microservices based applications and developing their own environments based on a lightweight Kubernetes cluster. Users will deploy the Splunk OpenTelemetry Connector, NGINX ReplicaSet and a microservices based application to send metrics, traces, spans and logs.

This workshop will also introduce you to dashboards, editing and creating charts, creating detectors to fire alerts, Monitoring as Code and the Service Bureau.

By the end of this workshop, you will have a better grasp of some key capabilities of the Splunk Observability Cloud and realise deeper troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
