Hear keynote speaker Dan Cerutti from IBM and specialist on the commercialization of Watson. You may have seen Watson perform on Jeopardy. IBM Watson's ability to analyze the meaning and context of human language, and quickly process vast amounts of information to suggest options targeted to a patient's circumstances, can assist decision makers such as physicians and nurses in identifying the best and most effective courses of treatment for their patients.

You will also hear from ClickMedix, BrainScope and AirPatrol, all Maryland companies working on innovations for healthcare using information technology

About the Forums
This will be the fourth in a series of four Health IT related forums. The topic for the October 2011 Health IT Forum centered on Government Contracting, the topic for the January 26 forum focused on Standards and Implementation of Health IT while the March 27 program highlighted Technology in Patient Care. On June 5, 2012 there will be a presentation on Health IT Innovations. The Health IT Forums are held at Johns Hopkins University, Montgomery County Campus

The Montgomery County Department of Economic Development (DED), Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) and the Tech Council of Maryland (TCM) have partnered to advance the innovation of Health IT in Montgomery County, Maryland, and therefore advance health IT for the entire United States.
