Honoring Army Civilians

This year, Public Service Recognition Week will be observed May 7-13, 2023, and honors all government civilian personnel that serve our nation. Public Service Recognition Week has been celebrated during the first week of May since 1985 to honor the people who serve our nation as federal, state, county, local and tribal government employees.

THEME: HONORING ARMY CIVILIANS

Army Civilians have been an integral part of our country’s history, supporting Army’s mission since 1776. Since our country’s inception through present day, the Army has relied on its civilian workforce to meet countless key roles in support of the warfighter.

There is no cost to attend this event in person, but registration is required. Continental Breakfast will be served. The Association of the United States Army welcomes all members, employees or consultants of member companies, military, civilian government personnel, invited guests, and non-members that are interested or have an identifiable relationship with AUSA or the U.S. Army.

Military Attendees: ACU/OSU/duty uniform

Civilian Attendees: Business attire

• Military: Class A: Army Service Green Uniform (AGSU) or Army Service Uniform (ASU); required only during presentation/remarks.
