We invite you to join our Red Hat® experts and your Red Hat User Group (RHUG) peers in Raleigh, North Carolina for an in-person event focused on the Red Hat Ansible® Automation Platform 2 and the availability and key benefits of Red Hat Insights.

SESSION 1
During this event, we’ll provide an introduction to the platform and share key migration considerations for automation creators.

Ansible Automation Platform 2 was released in July 2021. With the release of the new platform, we made some architectural changes that paved the way for new features that:

• Make scaling automation less complex and more reliable.
• Run Ansible Playbooks inside container images, ensuring consistent and reliable execution.
• Allow fixes and enhancements of Ansible Automation Platform content as soon as it becomes available without upgrades.

Join us as we walk through these new features and demonstrate how you can start taking advantage of them. We’ll take an in-depth look at the various changes from 1.2 to 2.x, associated benefits, and when and how to refactor Playbooks.

We’ll also provide a demonstration focused on:

• Quickly updating Playbooks with fully qualified collection names in Playbooks with Visual Studio Code.
• Refactoring Playbooks that target localhost.
• Building custom execution environments (container images).

During this event, we’ll demonstrate how Red Hat Insights can increase the value and stickiness of subscriptions and simplify the renewal process by helping you:

• Operate confidently with system-level visibility into how Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems are built, configured, and compliant with security policies and business terms.
• Monitor OpenShift for configuration risks, upgrade compatibility, and cost optimization.
• Identify and resolve issues within Ansible Automation Platform.
