This is a Northeast Wisconsin security conference put on by security professionals for security professionals with the following objectives:

EDUCATION:

Whether you need CPE's for a certification or just want to hear what other local security pros are thinking about, we would like this to be a place to discuss.

We have a line up of excellent talks that range from the technical penetration tester to the cyber insurance broker, cryptography to SBOMs, phishing to fraud. The schedule for the talks can be found at https://grassr00tz.com/agenda .

CHARITY:

We've all received so much from the community at large, we also want to find ways to give back.

This year, we are setting up a scholarship for students attending Wisconsin colleges in programs that focus on cybersecurity. Our tickets may be free, but we ask that you consider donating towards the charity while attending the conference. Read more at https://grassr00tz.com/charity .

COMMUNITY:

We want to foster a sense of community with local security professionals. A community of trust and transparency so that all may get better at our chosen profession.

There will be lunch provided and areas to connect with fellow cyber security practitioners. Maybe even an after conference networking event.
