OpenCities Content Type Highlight: Events, Parks, and Venues

Designed for publishers who would like to learn more about how to create Event, Park, and Venue pages inside of OpenCities.

We begin with a step by step introduction to the OC Events content type. During this section you will learn:

• What is an Event page.
• How to provide the Who/What/When/Where/How Much in an easy to comprehend manner.

Next, we will provide a detailed walk-through of the OC Parks content type. In this section we will show:

• What is a Parks Page
• How to use categories and features to link residents to their interests

Finally, we will show what a Venue page is and how it can be used to connect residents to Civil Buildings, Recreation facilities, Libraries, and more.

We will provide you a recording of this training session within 24 hours. Since there is no better way to learn than learn by doing, we recommend following the video and trying out each functionality introduced as a take home task. You can do these tasks in a Training folder in your admin.
