Driving Efficiency & Reliability for Military Systems With Test Automation

In the fast-paced aerospace and defense software development landscape, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) have become critical for ensuring high-quality, error-free software releases for military systems such as avionics, radar, communications, etc. However, achieving CI/CD can be a daunting task, especially when it comes to software testing. Manual testing can be time-consuming, prone to errors, and cannot keep pace with the speed of CI/CD. This is where software test automation comes in, enabling defense software system designers to achieve faster and more reliable CI/CD by automating the testing process, thus deploying technology more quickly into the field.

In this webinar, we will explore the benefits of software test automation in CI/CD for military and aerospace applications and the best practices and strategies for implementing it effectively. We will cover topics such as choosing the right automation tools, creating effective test suites, and integrating automation into your CI/CD pipeline. Additionally, we will discuss common pitfalls to avoid when implementing test automation and share real-world examples of successful automation implementations in defense applications. By the end of this webinar, attendees will have a better understanding of how software test automation fits into and enables CI/CD and the steps they can take to optimize their testing process.

Speaker and Presenter Information

Meghan Danielson
Technical Consultant for the Aerospace and Defense industry, Keysight Technologies

Meghan Danielson is a Technical Consultant at Keysight Technologies supporting Aerospace and Defense clients. She enjoyed a long career in various Systems and Test engineering positions at Lockheed Martin before joining the Keysight Eggplant team in 2020. During her 10 years at Lockheed Martin, she worked on operational satellite programs, was a member of the test team for several software products, analyzed program requirements for feasibility and traceability, and wrote test documentation. She was also a champion for test automation and driving adoption of new tools within the team. Meghan is now applying her expertise to help customers effectively leverage those same software test automation tools successfully in their own environment.

Jeffrey Gardner
