2012 Chemical Sector Security Summit

Registration is now open for the 2012 Chemical Sector Security Summit in Baltimore, MD. 

The Summit will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center on July 31-August 1, 2012.

The sixth annual Summit will provide a forum for representatives from the chemical community to:

• Exchange information and network with other security professionals;
• Share best practices;
• Learn more about chemical security regulations; and
• Gain insight into the roles of Federal, State, and local agencies and departments involved in chemical security.

Benefits of attending include:

• Obtain a better understanding of chemical security regulations;
• Meet and interact with key Department of Homeland Security Officials; and

• Discuss and discover best practices for Site Security Plans and Inspections.

We anticipate approximately 600 chemical industry professionals will attend the 2012 Summit.

This year’s event will include sessions on a variety of topics such as the latest information regarding:

• Chemical security;
• Infrastructure protection;
• Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards impacts;
• Security assessments;
• Inspections process;
• Voluntary activities; and
• Best practices.

The Summit will be located at the Baltimore Convention Center, One West Pratt Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.

A room block has been set up at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore located at 300 Light Street, Baltimore, MD 21202. The group rate for the Summit/Expo is $145 single/double occupancy.
