The AFCEA Bethesda’s Emerging Leaders program year kicks off on Thursday, October 12, with the first installment of the ProDev series "Fed Talks & Headshots." This event has been intentionally curated to suit all your professional development needs. Haven’t updated your headshot since you used that photo from your friend’s wedding three years ago? Haven’t been out networking or developing new business partners because it was entirely too hot this summer? Looking to find some professional guidance and best practices for navigating career advancement? We’ve got you covered!

“Fed Talks & Headshots” will feature five special Fed Talk speakers who will provide experiential knowledge and insight on lessons around navigating your career, pivoting from failure to opportunity, overcoming obstacles, and appreciating differences. The event will also feature a professional photographer to snap fresh headshots that represent your most authentic self and will allow your peers and colleagues to see you as you truly are. The event will conclude with a networking segment dedicated to fostering professional connections and getting indispensable professional guidance for fortifying and expanding your professional trajectory.

The ProDev series is committed to encouraging vertical and horizontal professional connections to propel emerging leaders in government and industry to the next phase of their career journeys. We welcome folks from all career levels, fields, and experiences to attend this event and leave with a new professional headshot, career insights, and new or renewed professional connections.
