OGC North American Open Standards Exposition

 The OGC North American Forum has organized an Open Standards Technology Exhibition to be held on September 19^th, from 9:00 am-3:00 pm. The event will be hosted by Oracle at their offices at 1900 Oracle Way in Reston, VA.

The purpose of the Exposition is to demonstrate and promote the value of the implementation of open geospatial standards throughout the US Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC) and Civil Agencies.    Please get the word out to your colleagues, especially acquisition professionals, who will learn about the benefits of requiring open geospatial standards based solutions.  We will be advertising the exposition to attract significant participation from across the community including ODNI, NGA, Army Geospatial Center, FAA, USGS, FGDC, NASA, DHS, DISA and others.

 With only twenty spaces being offered for OGC member vendor displays, there is limited availability to participate in the Exposition.  Members of OGC are offered a first come opportunity to present your products in a tabletop exhibit to demonstrate how they apply and leverage OGC standards to better serve their Customer’s needs.  An Exhibitors request form will be supplied by OGC and used to register – make sure submit the form as soon as practical.   The OGC North American Forum is striving for each exhibitor at the expo to show how they are using OGC standards in their products and to demonstrate how these products provide value to governmental agencies in terms of cost reductions, implementation schedule reductions, and interoperability performance improvements for current and future capabilities.
