Air Force ACS 2010

This is the seventh annual Air Force ACS Conference, sponsored by the Air Force Agile Combat Support Capability Office. ACS is the capability produced by the forces and processes that create sustain and protect Air and Space Forces across the full spectrum of military operations. Over 80% of any Air Force deployment is comprised of ACS capabilities.

This year's theme, "ACS–Partnering for Success," emphasizes the fact that partnering is essential in every facet of ACS support ,and affects our ability to deliver the indispensable ingredients that underpin operations wherever and whenever they may be required on a global basis. The more obvious of these partnerships occurs in U.S. Joint Operations requiring ever -increasing co-dependent actions between our sister Services. Coalition cooperation, however, is vital as well.

Partnering between COCOMs in supported and supporting roles is also vital and highlights the planning and execution efficiencies that must be further developed across the spectrum of DOTMLPF. Equally as important, the National Guard Bureau and the Air Force Reserve who play a fundamental role in ACS success. Additionally, if modernization is going to be realized, and it must, marrying new scientific breakthroughs and advanced technology applications are also imperatives. Thus, this conference seeks to bring together all of these facets to maximize cooperation and exchange of ideas and action that will fulfill the need to assure the best possible support of operations anywhere, anytime, all the time.
