CBRNe Convergence 2012

This event qualifies for 2 CEUs

This event qualifies for 20 CPEs

2010’s CBRNe Convergence was the largest CBRNE responders conference in the US that year. It brought together 650 delegates with 75 exhibitors and culminated in a massive exercise involving units from the FBI, CST and local responders. 2012 will be no different with an expected 1,000 attendees and 100 exhibitors it promises to be the biggest event on the East Coast. The program will be chosen by the Editorial Team of CBRNe World and will be the largest gathering of significant thought leaders and senior commanders in the US – both from CONUS and beyond. CBRNe Convergence 2012 has already secured Supporting Partner Organisation from the FBI WMD Directorate, and has Nato’s Allied Command for Transformation committed to being a major participant in the Conference. As well as gaining government support, we are seeing exhibition stands selling fast – so to guarantee your position contact david.levitt@cbnreworld.com

The event will span four days with a pre-conference workshop on CBRNE Standards, 2 days of conference with selected US and International Speakers, Peer reviewed speakers, a poster presentation session and a 1/2 day dynamic demonstration and exercise.

Speaker and Presenter Information

“We are building a very broad church,” said Gwyn Winfield, Editor of CBRNe World, “they represent local, regional, state, Federal, national and international organisations! Some of these agencies are our partners that we will be working with on the dynamic demonstration on the final day, others are major players in the US national response while others are part of our outreach program to try and bring major non-US agencies into their orbit. The Republic of Korea (ROK) is a good example of this, they have a very close relationship with the US, they have a major threat to face – yet unless you get the opportunity to travel there you might not realise the scale of the capability and opportunity. Equally we are very happy to welcome Interpol, often response tends to be focussed on the military or hazmat responder, and not enough on the police/law enforcement activities. Interpol, along with the FBI, will help us keep these considerations in the forefront of our minds, and ensure a rounded and exciting speaking panel.”
